A very pretty hybrid introduced by Henrik Zetterlund. The pink flowers resemble those of C. schanginii, but are slightly smaller and the flower cluster is slightly more compact. The straight ascending flower stem is a feature seen in C. glaucescens. (S)

According to an ancient Greek dictionary, korys or korythos means: head covering, helmet, or hood. The Latin korydalis (crowned lark) is likely derived from this. The spurs of the flowers bear a resemblance to the crest of a lark.
The genus Corydalis comprises hundreds of beautiful species and the cultivars derived from them. All species, which are particularly suitable for planting under shrubs and trees, prefer a (partially) shaded spot.
