Galanthus

Galanthus, better known as snowdrops, are one of the first flowers to announce spring. These small flowers are flowering plants that belong to the Amaryllidaceae family. The name Galanthus comes from the Greek and means ‘’milk’’ (gala) and ‘’flower’’ (anthos), which refers to the white color of the flowers. Snowdrops can be found in many parts of the world, but they are mainly found in Europe and Asia.
