Convallaria

Lily-of-the-valley. Woodland plant. Well-known spring bloomer with wonderfully scented, usually white, flowers. Naturalises well in shaded areas. Can be used as ground cover, preferably in humus-rich soil. After flowering, red berries appear, beautiful but poisonous. Also lovely in a vase.
