Cyclamen rohlfsianum
This fairly rare, lily-of-the-valley scented Cyclamen is the only species found in Libya, and even then only in a limited area in Cyrenaica. Unique to the species is that the anthers protrude 1.5-2.5 mm above the flower tube. Pink flowers and large, broad, kidney-shaped, almost round leaves that are a bright shiny green, usually with silver markings. The leaves develop in early autumn and are somewhat sensitive to frost.
