Description
First described in 1935. Origin: Central Asia, mainly the Tien-Shan mountains, on limestone slopes at 1900 meters altitude. A variable species, closely related to T. turkestanica. The cream white flowers smell a bit like honey. The exterior has a violet glow, the base is cream yellow. Even the colour of the anthers is variable, usually violet, sometimes yellow.
