Tulipa orithyoides
First described by Vvedenskyi in 1935. T. orithyoides grows in the Hissar mountains in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Looks somewhat like T. turkestanica, but differs, among other things, with the light brown edges along the stamens and the length of the style. It is a richly flowering, multi-flowered species, the white flowers have a yellow heart.
