Description

Native to Arizona and Mexico, locally called 'Tanners Canyon Onion'. Named after Charles Plumier (1646-1704), priest, Franciscan, good botanist and excellent draftsman. A high-quality, long-flowering species with white to pale pink, waxy, relatively large flowers. The flowers look up from the umbel. Has three to six sturdy, lanceolate green leaves.
