Saxifraga granulata 'Plena'

Dutch name: 'Haarlems Klokkenspel', described in 1932 by Dr Jacob Botke at the Schierstins in Friesland, where they were called 'stinseblomkes' by locals. From late April, the white, with slightly green in the centre, double flowers appear on stalks above the leaves. The lower leaves are formed as early as autumn and go green through winter. For a not too dry location in (semi-)shade, avoiding competition from other plants. Really small flower bulbs.
