Narcissus cyclamineus

Intro: 1816. Division 13. Native to Spain and Portugal, but has become rare as collectors have plundered the wet meadows. Bright yellow flowers with the petals pointing strongly backwards. Not easy to cultivate, which is why we only have a handful on offer. The flowers appear in March, the bright green leaves often as early as December. Nourish well after flowering.
