Description

Ixia paniculata is native to moist sand plains in the northwest and southwest of the Cape. The cultivar 'Eos' is named after the goddess of the dawn in Greek mythology. Each stem produces at least 15 soft apricot yellow flowers. The star-shaped flowers sprout from a purple stem. The bulbs can be planted in autumn and have proven to be hardy.
