Fritillaria karelinii

The wide-open, soft pink, purple-sprinkled flowers are reminiscent of a Nomocharis. Native to a (semi-)desert climate at high altitudes in western China and central Afghanistan, among others. The flower stem does not grow much higher than 15 cm, the lance-shaped leaves are grey-green. Given its original habitat, grow in an alpine greenhouse.
