Description
In the Taurus Mountains, Turkey, C. paschei occurs locally very numerous and abundant, especially in open patches of forest and among brushwood. Named after Erich Pasche, a renowned researcher of the genus Crocus. The soft silver-lilac petals include a pale yellow throat, notable is the orange, split style. A fairly rare crocus, only found in specialist collections.
