Description

Intro: 1847. Nederlandse namen: boerenkrokus en elfenkrokus. Herkomst: het zuiden van 'Joegoslavië' tot in het zuiden van Hongarije, doch hoofdzakelijk op de kalksteenheuvels in Dalmatië. Bijzonder rijk bloeiend zijn deze stervormige licht lavendelblauwe bloemetjes, vaak met een licht bruingele gloed op de buitenste drie bloemblaadjes. Vermeerdert spontaan en is een prima krokus voor verwildering. Bloeit in februari, of in geval van een langere vorstperiode in maart. Stinzenplant.
