Description

A variable beauty found exclusively in Crimea, Ukraine. Latvian botanist Nikolai J. Puring was working in Crimea and described C. tauricus in 1900. The outer petals vary from white to lilac, slightly edged, feathered or striped. The inside is violet, lilac or purple, rarely white.
