Description

Intro: 1847. Also known as woodland corcus or early crocus. Origin: southern 'Yugoslavia' to the south of Hungary , but mainly on the limestone hills in Dalmatia. These star-shaped, light lavender flowers, often with a light brown-yellow glow on the three outer petals, are very floriferous. Multiplies spontaneously and is a great crocus for naturalising. Blooms in February, or, in the event of a prolonged period of frost, in March. Stinzen Plant.
