Description

C. lycius is found on rocky slopes in southern Turkey. Pure white, slender flowers with a contrasting deep-yellow throat. The whole is complemented by the finely incised red style whose shape fills the heart of the flower like flickering flames. Sometimes fine purple stripes can be seen on the outer petals.
