€7.00

Description
A species originating from Hatay province in the far south of Turkey, near the Syrian border. Janis Ruksans and Eugenius Dambrauskus collected the first corms as early as 2003, but publication has been delayed until more studies on this C. kotschianus closely related Crocus were completed in late 2018. One of the important differences is that in this crocus, the leaves are formed during flowering. Gorgeous, soft-violet, dark-veined flowers with an orange blush on the underside on the inside of the petals that makes it look like an orange throat.
