Description

Is a hitherto unknown and rare evergreen perennial, 15-20 cm tall, belonging to the Asparagaceae family and native to China and Japan. This forest dweller forms abundant offshoots, eventually creating an attractive mat-shaped hardy ground cover. From May to June, short-stalked inflorescences with greenish flowers form between the leaves, which turn yellow after a while and then really stand out.
