T. bifloriformis was first described in 1935. Origin: Central Asia, especially the Tien Shan Mountains, on limestone slopes at 1900 m altitude. A variable species, closely related to T. turkestanica. This selection with white flowers shows a golden-yellow star in the centre. The small black tips of the anthers provide a nice contrast.
