Pink woodland hyacinths. The first description of the woodland hyacinth dates back to 1601. The broad leaves are somewhat pendulous and ribbon-like. The round flower stems, up to 40 cm tall, are covered for about a third of their length with numerous nodding, broad bell-shaped flowers that tolerate full sun but show their best colour in a shaded spot. An excellent variety for naturalising. Origin: North Africa, Portugal and the western Mediterranean region.
