Colchicum szovitsii 'Album'

Native to Turkey, Iran and the Caucasus, where Colchicum is found in damp grasslands, steppes and on the edges of pine forests. During flowering, two or three slender, long leaves develop. Up to seven white flowers appear in late winter. Very beautiful and, if the winter is mild, a long-flowering plant.
