Arisaema ciliatum var. liubaense
Collected in September 1991 near Liuba in Sichuan, China. Initially it was thought to be a form of A. consanguineum, but later it turned out to be a form of A. ciliatum. The authors of the book 'The Genus Arisaeama', Guy & Liliane Gusman, put a picture of this Arisaeama on the cover, very beautiful. The spathe is purple with green and white longitudinal stripes. The leaves form an umbrella which is located above the flowers. The red berries appear after flowering. Hardy.
