Origin: Western China, especially in northwestern Yunnan and southwestern Szuchwan. The flowering spadix is white with a hint of soft pink and encloses a greenish-yellow flower spike. During flowering, the leaves develop, first folded together like a tube. Softly scented. Hardy.
