Arisaema tortuosum
Origin: Himalayas, from Punjab to Sikkim, western China and Manipur. Twisted curved stem. Each dark green speckled pale green flower stalk has two to three upright leaves composed of several oval leaflets. The flower sheath is olive green with purple edges; the inside has delicate white stripes. The S-shaped flower spike is soft green with a purple blush. They will survive a winter with moderate temperatures. In some locations, A. tortuosum can grow up to two metres high.
