Intro: 1753. Also known as wild garlic. This rampant allium occurs on large parts of the Northern Hemisphere. In the Netherlands it grows wild in some places, but it is a protected species (‘Stinzen plant’). The oval leaves are reminiscent of those of the Lily-of-the-valley. The flower stalk is triangular.
