Description
Legendary lily from 1957 which was the first lily to be registered in the Hall of Fame of the American Society Lily. She comes from the hands of the American breeder Leslie Woodriff and is considered to be one of the best, indestructible garden hybrids. She thrives in any garden soil. The lily carries up to 20 raspberry black-red flowers with a narrow silvery-white edge and a green star. Only becomes more beautiful over the years.
BELONGS TO THE FAMILY OF LILIACEAE
Approximately one hundred species of the genus Lily are known. The number of cultivars is growing steadily and runs into the thousands. The species are found in woodland regions of Europe, Central and South Asia, extending to the Philippines and North America.
