A rare species. Endemic to South Africa. Grows in wet spots, particularly in Transvaal and Natal at 1600 meters altitude. The greyish, soft yellow bell-shaped flowers have a soft lilac-purple blush on the outside, the tube and sometimes the lower petals have brown or purple markings. Fairly hardy.
