An evergreen Haemanthus hybrid with a medium flower colour. It is a cross between H. albiflos and H. coccineus in the background. It is a very special type with dark green bracts, which also remain green. This hybrid also has strong speckles on the inside and outside of the leaves. Can be used as a houseplant or container plant, not hardy. Veerle is a tetraploid hybrid and probably fertile, so seeds can be produced. Supplied in a 9 cm pot.
