An evergreen Haemanthus hybrid with a dark colour and speckles on the outside of the leaves. It is a cross between H. albiflos and H. coccineus. Can be used as a houseplant or container plant, not hardy. Gitta is a triploid hybrid that does not produce seeds. It has two H. albiflos genomes and one H. coccineus genome. The plant offered is very large and comes in a 17 cm pot.
